The Bees

Actual Honey is currently produced from the excess honey of two hives. The only honey taken is the honey the bees can spare, as they need honey to keep them going through the cold winter period where there is no forage available for them. The bees are descendants of Buckfast Queens with a very gentle temperament which makes working with them a delight!

The bees live in the village of Marton-le-Moor in North Yorkshire. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and arable farmland, there are plenty of crops and flowers for the bees to visit!

If you are interested in helping the bees then you don’t have to be a beekeeper to do so!
